An Unexpected Forest Shrine feels like the exploration segments from My Neighbor Totoro but for slightly older kids. The enthusiasm of embarking into a reasonable quest, some hiccups along the way, but a safe return and a couple of lessons learned make it for a great afternoon of daydreaming. One of my favourite album by The Herbalists. emanuele127
Make it a trifecta for The Herbalists! Keeping with their first two gemstones this release expands on musical foundations of Forest and Island. I hope there are a ton more of these to come! John Nada
A true Tolkien infused black metal. Fast, melodic, raw. Strong riffs, great vocals. Track 3 reminds me a bit of Fenriz' Isengard project. Amazing release from beginning to end. Anders Kvistr
Another strong release from Snarling Clearing. The mood this evokes is a creeping evil slowly chasing you across a barren landscape hoping to ensnare you in torment. Chilling, engulfing, atmospheric...simply excellent. 4.5/5 Obsculta
